the Yardbird is the Light duty choice of contractors and municipalities

durability. The Yardbird features Heil's Dura-Class design,
with a continuous formed body sidewall and fully enclosed top
rail for superior resistance to moisture and corrosion.The
double wall body side, full depth rear corner post and enclosed
front corner post, plus Heil's famous interlaced subframe give
Yardbird uncommon strength and rigidity for a smaller dump
body.
The
new Yardbird comes with an optional drop side, equipped
with Heil's patent-pending Easy-Latch System which allows
you to push the side panels closed, eliminating the need
for manual locking.
The Yardbird is available in sizes
from 2 yard to 4.5 yard and lengths from 8 to 12 feet.

1520 Hoist, standard on all Yardbird's, is equipped with
a powerful 5-inch cylinder, heavy duty platform hinge,

The body sidewall is shaped into a unique top rail, side
and running board configuration. This revolutionary design
eliminates the typical outside seam weld below the top
rail, preventing troublesome moisture and freeze problems.
Stylish but stronger, too, the smooth radiused corners
and sloping side braces are formed with less stress on
the steel, which means you'll get longer life from every

The SL 316's Crossmemberless Subframe
- Clean Subframe means better corrosion resistance.

The tub body's rounded floor and low center of gravity
give it exceptional strength and stability. Loads are
discharged cleanly from the body shell.
